Weigh In on the Proposed EEOC Reporting of Wages and Hours Worked

Did you know the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has proposed adding employee wages and hours worked to the existing EEO reporting due by September 30 of each year?

The plan is to add 1 wage range category to each of the existing Job/Ethnicity/Sec categories.  The wages used would be Box 1 from Form W-2 and then the associated hours worked for these wages would also be added to the report.

A fact sheet has been provided to explain in more detail

How would this affect your company?  What processes would you be required to put in place to obtain this information with the EEO-1 current breakdown?

Employers can comment or make suggestions for this process in writing or electronically at www.regulations.gov
