Massive Hack Includes ADP, Facebook and Others

An estimated 2 million Facebook, Gmail, LinkedIn and ADP passwords have been breached by hackers according to a cybersecurity firm called Trustwave. The hackers used a malicious software that was installed on an unknown number of computers around the world. The hacking began on October 21, 2013 and there is a possibility it may still be going on.

Trustwave mentions, “Facebook accounts are a nice catch for cyber criminals, but payroll services accounts could actually have direct financial repercussions.”

The Washington Post has more details about the hacking incident.
