What is the Affordable Care Act?
The Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as ObamaCare, is the health care reform program that took effect in the United States on March 23, 2010 and requires all U.S. citizens to have healthcare.
How do I determine my company’s requirements and what it is eligible for?
You can find out your requirements and benefits based upon your employer size. Are you a small or large employer? Employer size is based off of number of employees. An applicable large employer (ALE) has an average of at least 50 full-time employees. A full-time employee generally means they work on average at least 30 hours per week.
