Welcome to Election Year! As a result of proposed changes for future Federal Minimum Wages, several states have announced that they will be increasing their State Minimum Wages.
Effective December 31, 2014
- New York increases state minimum wage to $8.75.
Effective January 1, 2015
- Connecticut increases state minimum wage to $9.15
- Montana increases state minimum wage to $8.05
Unannounced 2015 Dates
There are 11 states (and the number is growing) that base state minimum wage on the Consumer Price Index and they will announce new state minimum wages for 2015 later this year. Watch for
